Pool Memberships: New Rates

The pool opens May 27 and memberships applications will be available March 1.

The SNI board voted to change the pool membership fees this year. It has become apparent that our pool fee schedule discriminates against the smaller families and families that don’t match the two parent model. So, if family of two wanted to join the pool, they paid the same as the family of six.

Our intention is that this fee schedule change is revenue neutral. Only a few individual families will be affected, but not be by much. Smaller families will see their pool costs go down. The fees will be published when the applications are ready in the next few weeks.

New rates include reduced rates for smaller families. Generally, allowing for a per person price structure instead of penalizing smaller families.

The new price structure begins with a Family of Two for $110 (if paid before May 1). This includes one adult plus any family member, or they may chose to begin a guest on each visit. Family of Three will cost $125, a Family of Four will be $140, a Family of Five will be $155, and a Family of Six will now be $170. These prices are the early bird discounts; all prices go up $10 if membership is purchased after May 1.

These prices result in an increase of $25 for a Family of Six and an increase of $10 for a Family of Five, however smaller families will actually pay less.

Associate membership rates will also go up a little, $20 for a Family of Six, but smaller families will pay less than last year. This pricing is in line with similar pools but allows for more price levels for smaller families. Our hope is to attract more members by offering more options.
